I love it when the air is nice and cool for a run. The crisp feel of a fall morning in your lungs can really give you a boost. Sadly, this is also the time we start to lose the light at the best time of day to get out on the roads. Safety starts to become an issue. I often see people out on the roads in clothing that blends in with the road and the vegetation. Be smart. Wear high-contrast colors. Wear lights and reflectors and even horns and bells if necessary. The time change is coming. In a couple of weeks, we’ll get a short reprieve from the darkness, but it is important to take individual precautions for yourself and be responsible for your own health and safety. Be a boss. Be BRC.
