What A Week!

BRC got their collective mileage on last weekend. For those of you who may have missed it, here is a quick recap:

·         Ultrafest – Huge turnout for the 7^th Annual BRC Ultra Border Crawl. We saw over 20 runners take on part or all of the trek. We have two new Lady Crawlers, Shaina Bendzewicz and Angela Abbott  and another Repeat Crawler- Matty Gas Pedal Laberge. They each ran 36.9 miles. Huge props.

·         BQ-fest at Baystate– BRC had a strong showing at the Baystate Marathon with lots of BQs after their times on the results page. Apologies in advance for anyone I inadvertently miss on this list. Our Boston Qualifiers include: Don Chapelle, Frank Debonis, John Lilly, Mark Shipley, Rich Conrad, Dave McGillivray, and Linda Haskell. Erik Slivka just missed his BQ time, he’ll get that next year.

·         New Member – We welcomed Member #112, Peter Waterman, at the turn from the front to back nine of the Ultra after he ran over 16 miles to get his last borders.
