All Hallows Eve
It’s that time again. It’s time to don your scariest costumes and head out to badger the neighbors for goodies. Or maybe just run to the costume store while wearing a costume. Or NOT wearing a costume. You decide what’s right for you. So as not to step into a steaming pile of woke and cancel, I’ll let you read about the origins of this modern harmless holiday on your own. In any case, wear a costume if you’re so inclined, and go run here:

Dave Tyler is looking for help with The Run for The Troops 5K on 14 Nov. In years past, the BRC and our family members have supported the race through volunteering – specifically by course marshaling. The course marshal coordinator, Dave Tyler, is looking for several volunteers. The commitment is only a couple of hours and provides a great vantage point to watch the race and cheer on the runners. If you, your family, or a friend or two are willing to help, please reach out to Dave directly. David Tyler <firstname.lastname@example.org>
A brief note from Dave:
In support of this great cause and fun race of about 2000 entrants we need your help. I'm looking for about 25 course volunteers on Sunday 11/14/2021 between 8AM and 10AM. If you can help out, please email me. On race morning please plan to report at the bandstand on the town common at 36 Bartlett St. Andover, MA at 8AM.
This year's run/walk will help finance the construction of a specially adapted custom home for Brandon Korona in Derry, New Hampshire by Homes For Our Troops. For more info about the event… look here: Run for The Troops 5K

Our own Dave Barbato sent out a note about another great charity run coming up November 20th/21st. This one is a fantastic in-person/virtual hybrid race, also supporting a great cause. He’s set up a BRC team you can join from anywhere in the world.
· 14 Nov 2021 – Run for the Troops
· 20-21 Nov 2021 – Housing Families 5K
· 25 Nov 2021 – Feaster Five
· XX Dec 2021 – BRC Christmas Run
Please note that my suggesting you NOT wear a costume is NOT intended to suggest that you shouldn’t wear ANYTHING AT ALL. For most of us, that would be the scariest sight of all.
