Good luck to our friends traveling this weekend to run the Chicago Marathon. Yazmin 96, Paul 98, Judy 110, and Alex RWOB (and maybe more we don't know about) will be hitting the Windy City and showing off what BRC runners can do. Have a great run guys! Send us your pictures.
A nice 9 mile run down Salem Street to get you out to Boxford and back. https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/179216844/
There’s a shortcut. If you turn around when Salem St turns onto Salem St, it’s about 5.5 miles. If you want shorter than that, turn back earlier.
BRC Ultra Border Crawl
One more week. It’s a 37-ish-mile slow route that touches ALL of the borders. Next week we will send some well-prepared (and maybe not-so-well-prepared) runners to touch ‘em all. Note that this event returns to the Common about mid-run, so you could end up with a 20-mile run or a 16-mile run depending on which loop is scheduled first.
Interested runners, please let me know your intentions. Road support can be provided, as long as we know how many people to support.
Mat, please share your thoughts and plans.
