This week I thought it might be best to stick to the main roads. A simple out and back makes sure we can all follow the path. Hopefully the ice and snow is pushed back farther than on the side streets. Don’t worry too much. We have some melting coming soon. It won’t be in time for tomorrow’s run, however. It will be cold. Dress appropriately, and participate at your own risk. https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/179216844/
You can use this week’s route as a choose-your-own-adventure. Need 6 miles? Run out 3 and return. Need 7? Go 3 and a half then back. What about 7i? Well, if you’re running imaginary miles, I’m right there with you. I have let myself get to the point of apathy. That’s not great, but I really stopped caring too much. I do have an event on my calendar in September, so I thought I should get started rebuilding whatever fitness I can achieve. Keep an eye out, because next week, we’ll see a more structured BRC Express, tailored not only for those who want to get done early, but also for those who are recovering from injury, apathy, or silly-eating season.
Oop… I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it, fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called, uh, jogging. I believe it's 'jogging' or 'yogging.' it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time! It’s supposed to be wild.
