Obligatory Route

My contract stipulates that I should make every effort possible to send you all off running in some direction each week. We’re going to Ballardvale this week simply because it’s fun to say (Ballardvale!)

Whew, glad we got that out of the way. Now onto the important business of putting on a race.

Flyers and Signs

With 23 days until our annual 4^th of July Race you can still help get the word on the street (quite literally actually). Tomorrow morning Speedy Petey will be handing out race signs you can plant in your front yard. If you can’t make it tomorrow, get me or Petey your address and he’ll drop one off. If yard signage seems a bit much or if you live in a low traffic area, perhaps you can pick up some race flyers to hand out, display, or leave at local businesses.  The Race Director will be handing those out to any interested parties. Be interested. Be a party.

Raffle, Raffle, Raffle!

Cool prizes, great cause – get in on the action now. One of the fund raisers for the 4^th of July Race is a raffle. It’s not just fun to say (Raffle!), it’s also fun to play.

$10 = 1 ticket

$20 = 3 tickets

$50 = 10 tickets

I know somebody that looks a lot like me who just bought 10 tickets, here’s how I did it.

1.       Go to: https://www.paypal.com/home

2.       Hit SEND in the top menu bar

a.       Enter 4thraffle@gmail.com

b.      Enter one of the dollar amounts listed above

3.       Hit Friends or family button

a.       You may have to Log In if  you are not already logged in

4.       In the Comments section add your Name, email,  and telephone number

5.       Hit Send Money Now

6.       Reach all the way around and give yourself a big pat on the back

a.       Be sure to stretch first

If you are not a PayPal or are averse to ecommerce, you can always find Rusty and hand him cash. He’ll take care of the rest.
