We’re Having a Heat Wave.

This is not my favorite kind of weather for running, but just like every year, we must deal with it eventually. The best part of this time of year is that we get the longest day of the year in a few days. (OK, they’re ALL 24 hours, so keep the dad jokes to yourself this weekend). Anywho, this is a great weekend despite the hot running weather. We get the day with the most daylight on Father’s Day weekend. The only work I plan on doing this weekend is tomorrow’s run. We might as well make it interesting. Let’s go to North Reading. Extra miles would get you Middleton, if you know the way.

The BRC Tuesday 5K Away Game

The Tuesday Night 5K is having an away game! Gene Fay has generously invited the run to start and end at his beach house in Seabrook. There is a 6-car parking limit, so carpools would be advisable. Let me know if you’re interested and I will provide necessary details. I might even be able to hook you up with a carpool (assuming people let me know they have vacancies.)

BRC Triathlon News

As of Monday, Race Director Aaron Preston announced he needed 11 more participants to hold the annual BRC Triathlon. I know you’re out there. Let’s get that roster filled.
