Attention Running Fans

We are not starting (or ending for that matter) from the Common this week. Here is where we are starting. If you are hyperlink-challenged, it is the Technology Center Parking Lot of Northern Essex Community College. We have never started here before therefore checking out the start location as well as the planned route might be advisable. In fact it is. I advise it.

What’s To See There?

Good question. This week we will gad about the shores of scenic Lake Kenoza along the historic Dudley Porter Trail. Why is it historic, you ask. Good question. We’ll discuss the merits of that assertion tomorrow. The planned route is relatively short at just 5 miles. If you feel like additional mileage will benefit your fitness, feel free to freestyle around the Dudley or head up to see Winnekenni Castle. Perhaps the castle is why the trail is historic. It’s a working theory.
