BRC Run – 11/12 – 6:45AM – Veterans Run – 7.7 Miles

Hooah! Hoorah! Hooyah! Huah!

Muster is at zero-six-forty-five. Dress is PT casual, BRC Bonus Points generously awarded for military attire. We will form up, exchange pleasantries, and move out precisely at zero-six-fifty. Our first stop, at approximately 2.4 clicks will be the Vietnam Memorial at North Andover High School. Then we will proceed in a military fashion along a circuitous route to Veterans Memorial Stadium at Lawrence High School. At this point you can return to base or freestyle as you see fit. Good advice is to review the map before attempting this route. You have been briefed.

On a Personal Note

In order to have the Veterans that we pay tribute to today, we remember that they began as volunteers who joined the greatest military in the world, who swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and served with distinction. In ten days my son heads off into the wild blue yonder, spouting his flames from under as a member of the United States Air Force. As a veteran myself, I sleep easy knowing we have the best and brightest currently serving and lining up to replace them. That will be all.
