BRC Run – 4/30 – 6:45AM – Pick a Border

Apologies for being pre-occupied today. I’m getting ready for a run and I’m still pulling stuff together so I don’t have a route planned for you tomorrow. Sue Parke just finished her first marathon on the 18^th, quite an achievement as you all know. Now she would like to complete her borders and become a member of this esteemed Club. She has Boxford and the Larry Meth Sally triple already. If you could run with her to any of the four other borders I’m sure she would appreciate that.

Running With The Club

Speaking of running with an esteemed Club, I get to do that tomorrow. Thank You to everyone who contributed to my fundraiser and for all the well wishes and pep talks. Pictures of the shirt I’ll be wearing are below and I can’t wait to explain it to everyone who asks about it.

Progress Report

Unfortunately the Mohonk Preserve is not equipped with timing mats so you cannot track our progress online. Therefore I’ll summarize for you now: at 6:45AM when you start the run, Mike and I will be just over 4 miles into the woods. At noon when you have your lunch, we’ll be snacking somewhere around the 30-mile mark (assuming they put markers out). Sometime later in the afternoon, before 5:00PM is our plan, we hope to be having a beer with 50.5 miles behind us. That’s the plan anyway.
